Postpartum Support
Informative and Compassionate
I am currently working on my Postpartum Doula certification through DONA International. As your Postpartum Doula I will provide you with reassurance, resources and rest. My primary focus is looking after YOU so you can look after your new baby.
Services include baby care, light housekeeping, meal prep, feeding support (breast and bottle) and to provide you with time to rest.
Services are provided in your home. Ideally 3 or 4 hours a day, as many times a week as you would like (usually once or twice) or maybe you just need one visit as you get settled.
A Postpartum Doula works within the 4th trimester (first 12 weeks after baby is born) to help you adjust to new family life.
Services are $25/hr
I work within the surrounding towns of Peterborough, NH.

"Michaela is not only a friend but wonderful at wanting to help and offering care as a post partum doula to new mamas/families in the first few weeks/months after welcoming a new baby. Some of the things she helped out with was laundry (washing/folding/putting away), meal prep (snacks, lunch and dinners), helping with my other kiddos and just being a listening ear and an extra hand. These every day tasks that she took on really let me focus on my other kids and get a chance to connect with them and not worry about not getting things done around the house.
